Google AdSense makes sense
Blogger invited me to join the Google's AdSense program. It said "Turn your blog into a source of revenue". Hmm...why not? But actually it was not the bucks that made me put in the AdSense on my blog (ok, maybe with a little hope...) but I was simply curious to know how Google implemented the AdSense thingy. So this is merely a technical research exercise, trust me. :-)
I've been impressed by all of Google's work, including GMail, and this was no exception. The setting up was quite straightforward and intuitive. And it was a no-brainer to add the script code to the Blogger template and it immediately did what it's supposed to do without any problems. Couldn't be any easier.
So there you have it, on the right side of my blog posts. If you click on the ads, I'd get a couple of bucks (hopefully). So go ahead, make me rich!

Oooopsi. Blogger bug ro what? I played the inquisitive monkey and pulled the wedge: there was a 'delete' link for my post, and I tried it 'just to see' thinking it's a bug to have rights to delete a post from someone else's blog: unfortunately, it happened to be functional. I still think it's unethical to delete a post without a proper reason, so here's replay.
My Original post was a like to this, along with the extract:
IncentivesWeb pages may not include incentives of any kind for users to click on ads. This includes encouraging users to click on the ads or to visit the advertisers' sites as well as drawing any undue attention to the ads. This activity is strictly prohibited in order to avoid potential inflation of advertiser costs. For example, your site cannot contain phrases such as "click here," "support us," "visit these links," or other similar language that could apply to any ad, regardless of content.
